User experience is essentially a field that focuses on meeting the user's needs. When we create websites and applications, such products can only be useful and meaningful if the user is able to utilize it efficiently. For example, we would look at how users view an application and what they need from it. We also consider how to meet at the intersection between the user's needs and the business/organization's goals. 7 main factors that influence the field of UX highly suggests that information must be: useful, usable, desirable, accessible, findable, and credible. Lastly, some areas that take part in building the overall user experience include user research, user evaluation, user interface design, and more.

They are organized as suggested steps when working on a project. These methods include: project management (meeting with clients, assigning roles within the group, laying out project requirements), user research (running tests and conducting interviews, creating scenarios, and task analyses), usability evaluation (conducting more tests and looking at results), info architecture (wireframing), interaction design (prototyping), and content strategy (what will be included in the final project).
